Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is a dry manicure or dry pedicure?

Dry care is a technique performed without the use of water, allowing the skin and nail plate to stay firm. This gives your nail technician better control and precision, resulting in exceptionally clean work and beautifully refined nails.

2. Why do people choose dry nail care?

Dry manicure and pedicure offer a more precise, refined, and longer-lasting result. Because the skin remains stable, cuticle detailing can be done with greater accuracy, giving your nails a polished, healthy, well-groomed look.

3. What is the European-style cuticle technique?

This is a modern method using precision e-file tools to gently lift, smooth, and detail the cuticle area. It creates a beautifully clean nail edge and naturally elongated look — perfect for clients who love a refined, editorial-style finish.

4. Is dry care suitable for sensitive skin?

Absolutely. Dry techniques focus on gentle, controlled detailing. The process avoids excessive softening and keeps the skin stable, making it ideal for clients with sensitive cuticles or delicate skin.

5. Do you use safe, sanitized tools?

Always. Every metal tool is disinfected with medical-grade sterilization (CS20/AHP) and stored in sealed pouches until your service. Anything that cannot be sterilized is single-use.

6. How often should I book dry services?

Most clients return every 3–4 weeks for manicures, and every 4–5 weeks for pedicures. Dry results tend to stay clean and fresh for longer.

7. What services do you offer instead of acrylic or dip?

We specialize in gel, structured gel (BIAB), hard gel, and Gel-X extensions, which align with Re:set’s clean, health-conscious environment.

8. Is gel removal included?

No — removal is an additional service.

If you currently have gel, BIAB, Gel-X, or hard gel on your nails, please select the appropriate Removal Add-On when booking so we can allocate enough time to safely remove your existing product.
